2020 will see Inscape Education Group launch its fifth (5th) accredited and registered campus in Stellenbosch. The decision to invest in growing the brand further in the Western Cape is in response to increasing demand and enquiry by current and prospective students wanting to experience the famed ‘student life’ offered by a town like Stellenbosch; whilst receiving quality higher education expertly delivered by our academic teams.
Inscape is pleased to add Stellenbosch to its established and successful group of campuses throughout South Africa. The new campus will accommodate the growing demands and needs of a tertiary market, searching for quality higher education. We believe that Inscape Education Group is poised to meet this demand through the provision of a quality product; attested to by commendations from industry, alumni and authority bodies alike. The result of which has seen our graduates experience a high employment rate at top agencies and corporate firms.
Please note the following.
2020 students will attend classes at a temporary location, accredited and registered by the Department of Higher Education and Training. The accredited site is in close proximity to the eventual (and permanent) location of the Stellenbosch campus. Construction of the new permanent Stellenbosch campus will commence shortly and will be ready for occupation in January 2021. Renderings of the campus are available for viewing at all campuses. This new site is intended to be a hub of higher education institutions of which Inscape will occupy one floor, approximately 1500 sqm. The new site has ample parking spaces and is conveniently situated on bus routes, taxi routes and is adjacent to the train station in Stellenbosch. The immediate area has existing accommodation options, retail environments and easy access to Stellenbosch town. The site will be secured with 24hr security to ensure the safety of the students. The opportunity to build the campus from scratch allows us the ability to tailor the space and provide a state-of-the-art facility for the progressive qualifications that the institution offers.
Students enrolled for the 2020 academic year for Stellenbosch will commence registration week in February 2020. Staff will be operational at the temporary site from early January 2020.
Campus culture is embodied by the students and staff who call the campus their academic home. Inscape encourages open and innovative interactions that help to facilitate robust, intellectual, collaborative and creative exchange among students and staff alike. We want you to develop your unique and authentic design for life, both socially and professionally.
Each of our campuses boasts its own individual student life and culture uniquely shaped by the community and its people. We look forward to the development of a Stellenbosch campus culture that showcases the unique essence of the community.
The 2020 campus has spacious studios equipped with 360° speakers, Apple/Lenovo computers and HD projectors. There is an open plan workshop space where students can experiment and explore product development, complete group projects and collaborate on ideas and concepts. The facilities also provide a large photography studio equipped with a commercial curved backdrop ideal for capturing products and models for image editing; as well as a well-stocked research and sample library. The student lounge is equipped with comfortable couches for relaxing along with work areas for completing assignments between classes. Coffee and tea are freely available for students to take advantage of. Interviews (as part of our application process) for students wishing to attend the new Stellenbosch campus can be completed at any of our existing campuses.
Campus will run from 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday. Students can take full advantage of the free Wi-Fi on campus to conduct research using the online library, gain access to LinkedIn Learning tutorials, check their assignments through Grammarly and monitor their current success through the Learner Management System.
