What is Digital Marketing
Digital marketing is about targeting and delivering digital content (image, video or keywords) to consumers through online platforms such as email, search, social media and websites. Digital marketing is concerned with the development of strategies and the execution of campaigns designed to maximise returns for a company or product through online media and is delivered to digitised devices such as laptops, smartphones and tablets.
What is a Digital Marketer?
Digital marketers are concerned with the impact their content or platforms generates in the digital world. They explore and build campaigns targeted at consumers based on their online behaviour; how they make purchasing decisions or respond to different media and prompts. Digital marketers examine the array of available online channels and platforms to determine the ideal positioning and placement of content to increase sales, drive engagement or build awareness.
Through each module, you will learn and practise skills applicable in real-world scenarios to make an immediate impact in your work or business. You will learn how to identify the best platforms for campaigning, how to structure your campaign and the required media plan to ensure maximum reach and cost efficiency to generate leads and drive engagement.
