In the age of digital transformation, this course equips students with practical digital marketing skills. It focuses on how to create, execute, and measure the effectiveness of campaigns across multiple online platforms, preparing students for roles in the fast-growing field of digital marketing. 

What is Digital Marketing

Digital marketing is about targeting and delivering digital content (image, video or keywords) to consumers through online platforms such as email, search, social media and websites. Digital marketing is concerned with the development of strategies and the execution of campaigns designed to maximise returns for a company or product through online media and is delivered to digitised devices such as laptops, smartphones and tablets.

What is a Digital Marketer?

Digital marketers are concerned with the impact their content or platforms generates in the digital world. They explore and build campaigns targeted at consumers based on their online behaviour; how they make purchasing decisions or respond to different media and prompts. Digital marketers examine the array of available online channels and platforms to determine the ideal positioning and placement of content to increase sales, drive engagement or build awareness.
