Do you enjoy transforming dull areas in to functional and beautiful spaces? Are you attentive to detail with a creative eye?
The Diploma in Interior Design integrates learning about the relevant materials and services within the built environment, how to implement construction methods and installation techniques to create solutions that are memorable, sustainable, ethical, and socially responsible.
Students who graduate with this qualification understand the theory and practices of creating both desirable and functional spaces for clients and work with technology to plan, design and implement their designs. This is achieved through developing a broad understanding of creative design techniques, technical drawing, project management, business and regulations, and an understanding of the teamwork required in interior design projects. Graduates confidently present visually pleasing design solutions and implement the newest industry software across corporate, domestic, restaurant, installation, service, retail, and specialist interior design projects.
Real client briefs, job shadowing and experiential learning opportunities ensure that our students are well-prepared to enter the industry as design practitioners.
