This is a three-year degree for students who want to work in digital marketing and communication.
You’ll learn how marketing works in practice. That includes understanding audiences, building campaigns, working across platforms, and using data to guide decisions.
The programme brings together marketing, communication, design thinking, and digital tools, so you develop a well-rounded skill set. You’ll work on real briefs, build campaigns, and graduate with a portfolio that shows what you can do.
You start by building the core skills you need. You’ll develop visual literacy, design thinking, and a solid understanding of how marketing and communication work. You’ll learn about audiences, consumer behaviour, and persuasion, while creating your first digital content and working with industry tools. You’ll also start thinking about your role as a creative and the kind of impact you want to have. This year is about getting comfortable, building confidence, and starting to work hands-on early.
In your second year, you take what you’ve learned and start working with it at a deeper level. You’ll focus more on strategy, audience insight, and planning campaigns across different channels. You’ll use digital tools more practically, solving real problems and using data to guide decisions. You also start managing more complex projects and thinking more critically about how and why campaigns work.
This is where everything connects. You’ll combine strategy, creative work, tools, and industry knowledge into larger, applied projects. Your final project becomes your main showcase, where you solve a complex communication challenge and demonstrate your full skill set. By the end, you’ll have a strong portfolio and a clear sense of how to step into a marketing or communication role.
ReadinessThis sets you up for how to think and work. You’ll build academic, digital, and critical thinking skills to keep up with the pace of a digital environment.
Applied ImpactYou’ll look at how marketing connects to real people and real contexts. This includes collaboration, ethics, and working through real-world challenges.
Marketing & Communication FoundationsYou’ll learn how marketing works, from understanding audiences to building brands, telling stories, and shaping communication.
Marketing & Communication PracticeThis is where you apply what you learn. You’ll create content, write copy, and build campaigns across different platforms.
Marketing & Communication ToolsYou’ll work with the tools used in industry, from design and content creation to analytics and data. This includes software like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.
Marketing & Communication IndustryYou’ll explore how the industry works, including trends, culture, media, and the evolving digital space.
In your third year, you’ll also complete a research component and a final research project.
