This course will introduce you to relevant terms, an overview of marketing principles, and an introduction of the sales process and the customer life cycle. We will then investigate the marketing vs. transaction marketing relationship, and introduction to the role of technology in sales and a breakdown of an effective sales plan. This course is aimed at anyone with an interest to further their understanding of marketing and sales. No prior learning is expected to be in place. An interest in marketing and sales is all that is required. Once you have completed this course you will have an understanding of the role of marketing and sales within an organisation, be conscious of the marketing principles in practice, be able to elaborate on the customer life cycle, discern between relationship marketing and transaction marketing, recognise the role and understand the necessity of technology in sales and apply your knowledge of the elements of an effective sales plan to compile one yourself.
