You can enrol for our Bachelor of Design programme at any campus to complete your 1st year. Our programmes are quality assured and standardised across all Inscape campuses. Students who are accepted into certain degree specialisation programmes might be required to complete their 2nd and 3rd-year studies at another specialised Inscape campus.

DISCIPLINE SPECIFIC – 2nd year - DESIGN KNOWLEDGE
Developing Discipline Specific knowledge through sound and audio-visual integration by exploring the fundamentals of writing for video, storytelling for emotion and persuasion. Developing digital multimedia production skills, motion design/graphic skills, animation and audio visual storytelling.
Applying theory to practice through progressive audio and visual technical skills including: lighting and camera techniques, visual treatment, video technology, set design and animation. Aspects of sound include design and editing, live sound, broadcasting and music. Projects are linked to communication, media studies and advertising media.
Advancing software skills and technical knowledge through software programmes with a focus on digital visual effects, editing, visual manipulation, special effects, quality and post-production processes.
Developing an understanding of the business and professional practice of Audio Visual production including Intellectual Property, contracts and managing the production process.
SPECIALISATION 3rd year – DESIGN STYLE
Developing a signature Audio Visual design style by experimenting with visual communication, animation and special effects.
Developing advance knowledge and expert skills in principles and workflow of animation, advertising, corporate and commercial videography, sound and audio mixing.
Awareness of the latest design technologies and innovations through practice in software programmes that explore modelling, animation and more advanced rendering techniques.
Developing an understanding of the guidelines and principles involved in running a design business. Promoting business vision, mission and values give graduates the confidence and ‘know-how’ to start their own design initiatives based in a foundational knowledge of strategic development, marketing strategies, importance of branding and managing finances.
